Expanding assets

I utilised the soil spoil from last yeas excavations combined with the compost we generated to enlarge the raised bed next to the west side of the terrace. It has given us an extra 12 m2 of plantable area and should be an asset. The seedlings and rooted cuttings from last year have done well and despite it being a young garden we are already at the stage were we can divide the plants. Further seed sowing is under way and with the night time temperature at around 10 degrees C and slightly longer daylight hours things should catch up pretty quickly.
