O'dear Deodora!

This Cedar which was planted as a 2’0” high sapling in 1988 has outgrown its allotted space and will have to be removed. We have tried some judicious pruning but the shape of the tree will be lost with frequent snipping. It is one of the drawbacks of gardening on a small plot and I for one will be sad to see it go; though Carol likes to remind me that it was I who said ‘ …they are only plants not monuments’ and ‘…everything has its day’. So I will have a further attempt at tree felling and hopefully this one will go according to plan!
