Across the fields the oil seed rape has bloomed once more and with those flowers comes the effects of hay fever. Striking though it is when confined to a small area, when it is over planted it can destroy the picturesque countryside view. The plant is a valuable crop for animal feed and cooking oils,
over planting has occurred in the past due to Common Agricultural policy of the E.E.C and it's wasteful subsidies.
