Excellent forms of hibiscus plant are to be found in the garden nurseries in the region , sadly none of the culitivars are labelled. This particular variety has primrose yellow buds with pink tips. The flower opens to reveal a striking pink bloom which has a yellow underside.
The blooms can also add colour to your summer salad all hibiscus are edible.
