A rather cautious hare has frequented the Finca this week, feeding or the meadow plants of our land a food haven amongst the barley fields beyond. The hare feeds with its long ears flattened along its back to avoid drawing the attention of preditors, occasionally rising above the vegetation to look and listen for its foes. With the skies populated by so many eagles and hawks it is likely that the hare will shortly reappear as a different link on the food chain of life.
