Early signs of Spring.

The plants around Figueres are heralding the early days of ´Primivera´. Along the railway lines the brooms are beginning to flower. In shadier spots the pink Viburnum buds are starting to open.

Most striking of all is the bright yellow of the Mimmosa tree, thousands of tiny yellow puff balls on each branch cascade through the air very similar to the laburnum tree. It´s a real eye catcher on a cool spring morning.

Field poppies have started to bloom too, soon their red petals will fill the fields around and about the village.
